Dear Backbrain:

The idea was to work on that Real Genius/Doctor Who crossover fic, not to take the throwaway bit about a television show in that alternate universe and run with it. Do not bother trying to plot the episodes of *Lord Peter*, the Sayers-inspired stories retold in a modern setting starring Freeman as Peter Wimsey and Cumberbatch as his personal assistant. It is a distraction, and you lack the British cultural knowledge to pull it off.

(Also, please lay off the Duran Duran for a bit. Yes, I listened to it. No, you don't have to put it on autorepeat. Don't make me get out the Anglo-Ukrainian punk band.)
