Amazon/Book Depository/Etsy.com are my friends. And fortunately we don't have terribly many people to shop for. I also confess to being one of these annoying people who sees something in July, says "That'd be perfect for $PERSON!", buys it, and remembers where I stashed it ;-).

(And on the other hand, I have knitting projects in progress that were planned for someone for two Christmases ago and are still not going to be this year's present....)

Hopefully everyone on your shopping list is a sane person who realizes that one's first newborn means that things won't be as fancy or thought-out as they would be in most years.
