June 18. Last time you swam in a pool? June 2018.
19. Type of music you dislike most? Bad music, or music with lyrics that I find so annoying/offensive that I can't ignore them and enjoy the tune.
I used to have particular genres that I thought I disliked, but once I actually listened to more works in them or found some gateway pieces in a related genre, I learned to appreciate the genres. For example, as a kid I would've said I hated country music. Then I clued in that country has some roots in British Isles folk music, a genre I love, and I heard a lot of performances by a local Texas swing band and a local alt-country band, which helped me appreciate the sound more. It's still not my go-to genre, but I won't be surprised if I find a country artist I end up glomming, and I wasn't scared off when a favorite folk rock musician started to pivot into country.
Now I'd say that there are works in every music genre that I enjoy.
20. How many people have you kissed in a car? Are we including familial greeting/farewell kisses, or only romantic? If romantic, something in the 10-15 range; if familial greetings are included, that might go up to 20.
21. Do you enjoy getting manicures/pedicures? I've never had one.
22. Did you often read for fun when you were a kid? When I was six I went to a birthday party and ended up spending half the birthday party in the host's room reading one of her books. (Maud Hart Lovelace, Betsy, Tacy, and Tib. The beginning of my adoration of her works.) In other words. yes.
23. Do you have any dietary restrictions? Not yet. I need to be careful about the quantity of some foods, but I'm not at the point where I can't eat them at all.
24. Are you more of a visual learner or an auditory learner? Depends on what's being taught. Music? Auditory. History or science or some such? Give me something to read. A physical task? I need to actually do it.
