Recently finished: L. A. Hall, Two Weddings and Several Revelations. A fun entry in the Clorinda Cathcart Chronicles.

Currently reading:

Randall Munroe, How To: Absurd Scientific Advice for Common Real-World Problems. I am not quite halfway through, and Middle Child has already come in twice to find out what I was laughing at. If you liked Munroe's What If? blog or book, you'll like this one.

Ben Orlin, Math with Bad Drawings. An introduction to a wide range of mathematical concepts. Usually if I don't finish a book before it has to go back to the library, I just forget about it or note it for future checkout. This one I bought. For me with my rusty math background, it's an entertaining read; I'm not zipping through it as fast as How To, but I'm enjoying it as relaxing bedtime reading.

I've been thoroughly enjoying the HAT3000 thread on Ravelry:  An AI researcher fed 500 crocheted hat patterns into a neural network to see what it would generate, which turns out to be...interesting.

She's now posted a summary on her blog: First there was Skyknit. Now there's HAT3000.
