5. Do you start the shower water before or after you get in? After, but I have a bucket that I direct the water into until it reaches a tolerable temperature; the bucket then gets used to flush the toilet.
6. What laundry detergent do you use? Varies depending on what's cheapest, but always an unscented undyed.
7. When you were younger, were you ever in a relationship with someone you now realize was way too old for you? The 27-year-old I dated when I was 19 was way too old for me. (Now, when I was 19 my now-spouse was 31, which is even worse. But we didn't meet until I was 33 and he was 45, by which time the age difference didn't matter as much, at least socially.)
I have never actually dated someone younger than me -- not my preference, just a reflection of who's been interested in me. Someday I would like to be in a relationship with someone I'm way too old for, but I'm not holding out hope.

9. What's the longest hotel stay you've ever had? Four nights? Possibly a little longer; I can't remember how long we stayed in a hotel when I was a kid and we moved cities.
