the 2021 daily meme, week 37 (or 36)

September 3. What is one of your favorite comedy movies? Real Genius. Holds up pretty well; has some of the best one-liners; Jordan is one of my favorite characters ever.
4. Do you have a crush on anyone that you haven’t really talked to before? Not at this time. I've certainly had celebrity crushes in the past, and I've met the occasional IRL person who made my hormones shout "This one! This one! Mate with this one!" when I hadn't even had a conversation with them yet, but at the moment there's no one who's inspiring that, and depending how much crushes are driven by hormones I may be done with that part of my life.
5. What is your least favorite sour patch kids color? N/a
6. Have you ever won a competition? If so, what was it and what did you win? In high school I did a citywide science competition where we had to take tests in various science areas. I placed first in physics, first in chemistry...and first in biology despite not having taken a bio class in three years, beating out some AP Biology students. Still one of my proudest achievements.
7. Did you ever take classes for a musical instrument when you were younger? Clarinet and piano.
8. How often do you walk around barefoot? Rarely. I got out of the habit when I had cats (cold cat barf is not pleasant to step in) and now don't find it comfortable. And every time I read about people walking outside barefoot I cringe -- aren't they worried about fire ants and sandburs?
9. What architectural style was your childhood home? Generic suburban box.
