A fairly sensible dream

Last night I dreamed about a Doctor Who-esque pair (though the "Doctor" was able to transport them without a Tardis) who, while having an adventure on a space station, found a ball of handspun yarn. Later they found and sheared a colorful sheep, and one of them spun some yarn from the fleece, but in the course of the adventure that yarn was lost in time. The Doctor apologized, but the companion had realized that the two balls of yarn were the same, and said, "That's ok; I still got to knit a shawl from it" and wrapped a huge shawl around the Doctor's shoulders.
(On waking, I thought that the really implausible part was how she managed to make a shawl that big and thick from one ball of yarn.)
