castironOct 7: Have you ever survived a natural disaster? Saying "no" makes it sound like I'm undead, so I'll say I've never been in a natural disaster. (I don't count pandemics like COVID-19 in the same category as "natural disaster".)
Oct 8: What’s the most unusual or random item in your purse, bag, or wallet? A sock in progress, which isn't really that strange.
Oct 9: Are you musically inclined? Do you sing or play an instrument? I took piano lessons as a kid and played clarinet in high school and college band.
Oct 10: Have you ever called someone the wrong name during sex or been called the wrong name by your partner? Not during sex. I did once accidentally call my spouse by my ex's name when Spouse was about to do something really stupid.... (And my kids frequently call me "Daddy I mean Mommy".)
Oct 11: What’s a form of entertainment that everyone seems to enjoy, but that you do not? Television -- traditional broadcast, cable, streaming. Though it's not so much that I don't enjoy it; it's that I don't enjoy it enough to prioritize it.
Oct 12: What three things are you most thankful for? Women's rights, washing machines, and the Internet.
Oct 13: What is something you've never done but would like to try to do? Why don't you? Parachute jump. I was actually considering it pre-COVID to mark a special occasion, but COVID makes it ill-advised (especially since the first jump at the local place is a tethered jump -- hard to stay six feet away from someone you're strapped to), and being overweight and having iffy knees is making me think that ship has sailed.
