August 6. What is the dumbest way you’ve injured yourself? Jumping off the bed and landing on a double-pointed knitting needle.
7. If you use libraries, what is the largest overdue fine you've ever had? I'm not sure I've ever had an overdue fine; if I did, it wasn't more than a dollar.
8. When was the last time you did something for the first time? About two weeks ago.
9. Which holiday is your favorite to decorate for? Christmas is the only one I decorate for at all. There are others I wouldn't mind decorating for, but with Spouse being so unenthusiastic about decorations there's too much of a coefficient of static friction.
10. What craft project do you want to do next? I don't know. I have so many projects I've been working on for six months or more, and so few that are anywhere near finished. Traditionally I start a project upon completing another solar revolution; there's one I've been wanting to make since I first saw it and that I bought yarn for thirteen years ago, and the sooner I start it the more likely I'll wear it in my lifetime. But I'm having trouble getting enthusiastic about starting it, with so many lingering projects already.
11. Do you have any family members that you've never met? Yes, even without putting on the genealogy hat and going way out on the tree. I have two, possibly three, aunts I never met before they died, though one I did correspond with. I have several first cousins I've never met, and I haven't met most of my cousins' kids.
12. When it comes to friends, what's the biggest thing you have in common? Depends on the friendship. It might be a hobby or other activity; it might be a shared past experience; it might be a fandom. Beyond that, they're my friend because I enjoy their company and find them an interesting person who I want in my life.
