This is the first time a Google Doodle has made me want to cry.
Yep, on Saturday I will definitely celebrate Jim Henson's birthday with a large quantity of Muppet viewing. (Not that this differs from an ordinary day in our household -- with a preschooler and an autistic preteen, the Muppets are a regular in our DVD player.)
It still amazes me that my brain considers the Muppets real. If I make myself look, I can tell there's hands in there, but I have to force myself to see it.
