Nov 11: If you were able to live to the age of 90 and retain either the body or the mind of a 30-year-old for the last 60 years of your life, which would you want? The mind, absolutely. And I say this as someone who's starting to feel the creaks and am realizing that it's only going downhill from here. I miss my 30-year-old body, but I'd rather look 90 and think rings around everyone than look 30 and have dementia. (That said, you do realize that the brain is part of the body, right? If my 30-year-old body comes with my 30-year-old brain, I'll take that please.)
Nov 12: If you knew of a way to use your estate, following your death, to greatly benefit humanity, would you do it and leave only a minimal amount to your family? At the rate things are going, I'm only going to leave a minimal amount to my family anyway, so might as well.
Nov 13: Do you prefer being around men or women? Do your closest friends tend to be men or women? It's varied over time. In high school and college, I preferred spending time around men. These days, I'm more comfortable in an all-female group than an all-male-but-me group. All my current close friends are women; I'm open to the idea of a close male friend and have had fairly close male friends in the past, but over the past several years that hasn't been in the picture.
Nov 14: What’s something you’re really good at, but you don’t like to do? Dishes.
Nov 15: If you knew there would be a nuclear war in one week, what would you do? Eat a lot of chocolate and head for ground zero. (Also, send a message to one of my acquaintances saying "okay, what is that tattoo on your chest?", because I'd hate to die still wondering.)
Nov 16: If you went to a dinner party and were offered a dish you had never tried, would you want to taste it even if it sounded strange and not very appealing? Sure.
