Last night I dreamed that Sherlock Holmes was a parrot seeing a therapist.

(One or the other of those, I could absolutely see as a prompt in a fic community. It's the combination that's disturbing.)

I don't know, y'know, the ficmeme has already had some outstanding crackfics, both prompted and filled. (Anderson-and-dinosaurs, Sherlock and Moriarty as lobsters having a knife-fight...) Parrotlock on the therapist's couch would be entirely within that ambit.

True; I should never underestimate fandom's range of crack.

(I actually find the idea of Sherlock seeing a therapist less plausible than Sherlock the parrot.)
