Yuletide Rec: Child Ballads

castironBrowsing this year's Yuletide fics, and this one really grabbed me: Child Ballads.
I've never read the October Daye series, so I'm missing all the context for that aspect, but it works beautifully as a story without it; it's a great retelling of "The Two Sisters".
