Apr 9: Whether you really believe in them or not, do you have any superstitions? Yes. I consider a particular song a good omen when I randomly hear it.
Apr 10: Do you prefer to write with a pen, pencil, or other writing utensil? Pen. I've recently picked up the fountain pen bug -- so many inks! pretty colors! refillable! I'm also in love with PaperMate InkJoy gel pens.
Apr 11: It’s Celebrate Teen Lit Day! What’s a favorite book from your teen years? Anne McCaffrey's Harper Hall Trilogy. Actually, not the whole trilogy, just Dragonsong and Dragonsinger. I took Dragonsinger with me to summer music camp, because Menolly's immersion in music at the Harper Hall felt like my immersion in music too.
Apr 12: What is your favorite snack food? Currently, pistachios in the shell, because we're not able to get as much really good cheese.
Apr 13: What sorts of things are you most likely to buy at a thrift store or second-hand shop? Clothes. Maybe dishes if I fall in love with something, but we don't need any and don't entertain at all, so I'd have to really love the bowl or platter.
Apr 14: It’s Perfume Day today. What are your favorite perfumes and colognes? None; I've never been much of a perfume user. As far as favorite scents go -- sandalwood, vanilla, honeysuckle, baking bread, sheets fresh out of the dryer or off the line, and old university buildings.
